We have demonstrated through our socialist system of government that one can get paid for doing nothing.

By calling American culture a "macroculture" it is further deprecation of Americans by claiming we have no real culture in the U.S. but owe our existence to immigrants. Maybe that was true 250 years ago, but it's not true today.
