Are you missing the manual or do you need other help? If you're just missing the manual, you can get a copy on the Linksys Web site:

Well first of all, have you read the instructions? The user manual should be on the CD that came with the router in PDF format.

If you don't have that, then you need to be connected to the router with a network cable. Once connected, make sure everything is turned on. From your computer, open up a web browser (Explorer or Firefox or whatever), and type in this address:
http://192.168.1.1

This will take you to the configuration settings of your router. You may be asked for a user name and password. If you have never changed these since buying the router, then leave the user name blank and enter "admin" as the password.

From the screen that comes up, click the Wireless tab. Once you are looking at the Wireless screen, click "wireless security" (or "security"), which is a sub-tab under Wireless. This page allows you to set the encryption type and your encryption password. If your router supports WPA Personal, then use that. It's stronger and more secure than WEP.

If at any point you do something that renders the router unusable, then locate the "reset" button on the back of the router, and use a paper clip to push and hold the button for a few seconds. This resets all passwords, etc.

One of the first things you should do, however, is to reset the router password (this is different from your wireless encryption keyphrase). Changing the router password will prevent other people from accessing your router and reconfiguring it. This can be accomplished from the "Administration" tab. This password is the one you will use instead of "admin" when you need to adjust the router settings.

Note that these are the most rudimentary instructions. You really should consult the user guide on the CD, or go to www.linksys.com and download the appropriate guide for your router model. Good luck!
