Something sweet, unlike a lot of 16 yr old girls are doing these days! Maybe a slumber party with cake and ice cream. Do something special, like go to an amusement park, if it's nearby. Oh, and since she's going to be 16, do something special like go to a restaurant she's never been to. Make her feel like 16 is an accomplishment. Now if you have the money, you could always treat them to DisneyWorld, but I don't think that's what you're looking for!

It depends on how much you have to spend. Going to the salon to get it styled is a nice treat, but if you have a lot of money getting braids put in with some multicolored ones is cute and fun
