Ever since the strife between Israel and Hezbollah ignited, again, less reporters and politicans have mocked Bush's tactics and persistance in the Middle East. Has America realized that Bush's determination to destroy terrorism in Iraq, (and all the Middle East) was always worth it?

I think the opposite is true. Bush has concentrated of Iraq when the real problem in the area revolves around Israel and the perception of the USA as Israel's stooge. Until we solve the Israel/Palestinian issue, it gives the whole middle east a reason to not trust us.

So I think it makes Bush's policies look more wrong.

I am going to be as polite as I can in response. If you take a serious look, you will find that Terrorism is at an all time high in Iraq, and shows no signs of abating...in fact, it is growing daily. Our inability to control these lunatics (critics said this all along...uncontrolable) has encouraged the lunatic Hezballah to go after Isreal...in a small raid, and Israel's retalliation may be more than what was required...time will tell. I think they are on the same binge as we, terrorism in the middle east will NEVER stop...that is their way of life, has been for thousands of years. Bush's war with Iraq has NOT been worth anything except to all but bankrupt our country, kill thousands and, sadly, maim (For life) many times that amount in just Americans, not counting the Iraqi. You tell me...If you were maimed, mentally damaged for life, would this be worth it? What has Bush solved? Name just ONE thing...Name just ONE GOOD thing that has come of this war....please, I am dying to know. Please take your head out of your *** and see things as they really are. This war is making billions upon billions for the war engines, on the backs of the poor...typical Republican crap, year after year, Make billions for the few on the backs of the poor, getting poorer by the minute.

Nope, we're just getting less airtime until this little tiff is over...

...or until President Bush screws up big-time again. We better not try to enter this thing. It'd be a big mistake & we don't have the manpower.

But like the above poster said, nothing will silence Bush's critics.

He is a mad man on the lose and soon those always supporters of Israel will wake up and move away from the american black and white view of the world, you never get rid of something by battling it, the american view of you are either with us or you are a terrorist shows that the Bush way doesn't work, the world is more multifaceted than his narrowminded view
