Because there are still women out there who teach them it's ok.
If every single woman in the world refused to be put down, they'd stop in a hurry.

Look at all the sexist garbage they're watching on TV. Besides, maybe they learned sexist attitudes form their parents, or maybe they were spoiled or neglected. Men tend to be naturally more aggressive and less emotionally attuned, so they need a lot of education. Instead they're just getting un-educated. The good news is, inspite of all this, there ARE good guys out there who respect women. Hold out for one of those, you will help make the world a better place.

It's hard to change an idea that's been going on for a very very very long time...there will always be sexists, but look at how far we've come...there are far fewer than there once were...women are taken more seriously and have more rights (in many parts of the world) than once they'd ever have imagined...

I think cos sexual equality only just began in the 60s and it'll take a few generations to finally die out. I hope men will learn to be non-sexist and noble at the same time, though it might take another ice age for something like that to happen.

Let's stop crying boo-hoo that were are treated so unjustly and just get out there and kick some A$$. Let's get the best education possible, the best jobs and never let anyone tell us that we can't. We should find strong female role models and do as they did rather than sitting inert crying about evil men who just won't let us excel.

because guys will never change. deep inside their mind they are all still sexist.
anyway, let's be happy because we are not living in a fundamentalist Muslim country to be forced to wear a veil and stay home raising children for the master!

Well, let me ask this question as well. What is wrong with women? What is wrong with men? Think about it a moment.
If ALL men were a certain way, and ALL women were a certain way -- what spice would there be in life? One has to be able to weed out what they like or don't like. Yeah... not fun, but how boring would it be if we were all the same.

well, to be perfectly honest, there are many things wrong with men, but for starters, they don't understand some of the things that women know. for instance, most of the time, men don't understand women's' emotions or how they feel about things. that is the main thing wrong with men.
