for girls, u call them dudette
for guys as usual, call them dudes

The word dude (origin unknown) is defined in the dictionary as a fop or dandy. These were persons who paid too much attention to dress or appearance or are vain about their appearance. The word is equally appropriate to either sex. There is no 'dudette' since 'dude' is not specifically male. The word was often used in 19th Century America in the West to describe easterners arriving in smart clothes when those in the West, a pioneering place at the time, tended to wear work clothes or more practical garments. The word has filtered through across the last 40 years or so and used by young people as a sort of greeting, IE 'Hey dude, how's it going?' The word tends now to mean the opposite of it's original use like describing something good as 'wicked'.

First of all, I know I'm not a guy but I'm gonna answer anyways. It really depends on the type of guy. But yeah a lot of guys like innocent girls, and some like dumb girls who pretend the have a brain of a 5 yr old. But most guys aren't usually attracted to the type of girl who "pretends" to be dumb and innocent for an actual relationship since I could understand that they would easily get bored with that kind of girl since she acts like she doesn't know anything. And the guys ur talking about probably only give her that kind of attention when she's around becuz they know they can easily use her and then dump her. Sooo yeah

you can use the same for gurls, but its a little awkward. "Hey dude" to a girl doesn't really work, but if you are saying "Duude that's so tight" then dude is less like a name and more of an exclaimation, which is fine to use on girls.
whatever you do...don't say dudette

the definition of dude is a man
for a woman you would call her a dudette
but to save yourself from getting laughed at i would just stick with calling everyone a dude.
