If everyone stopped paying taxes you'd lose all those nice things you are so used to -- pollice and fire protection, free public education, smooth roads, parks and libraries.

If no one joined the army? The world would be composed of rivaling militia.
If no one decided to be police officers? The state would decide for us! Or, once again, local militia!
If everyone stopped paying taxes? The government would just have to get income some other way... though without police or military, I'd find that particuarly hard to accomplish.

The not joining the army part is the only part I like. Police have to enforce the laws and taxes are used to keep social services running.

Joining the army isn't really optional in most countries. Young men are often required to join. If they don't then they may have to go to jail. I guess your hypothetical may still stand, but I thought I'd point that out. Interesting question, but it may assume to much about this being up to people's individual choices, which isn't always the case.

Not all people are like you. Many people have strong beliefs and could never, ever do what you suggest.
I think you are after world peace. The answer is much different than anyone knows, and will be revealed soon, 5 years max. Then it will talke 25 year to accomplish.
