Do you feel Israel is justified in the bombing of civilian neighborhoods during their unwarranted invasion of Lebanon?

Bums.. too bad you didn't choose a harsher word. Terrorists are those who kill innocent civilians regardless of their involvement in a particular issue. Israel is doing precisely that. If they really wanted to go after the Hezbollah they could have sent in ground forces in Southern Lebanon where Hezbolla has a stronghold and could have used covert operations, guerilla tactics. Instead they are bombing just about everywhere.
And this guy rockandroll is such a ******* moron. I don't see any intelligence in any of his answers, just ignorant belligerence towards anything he doesn't understand. Isn't it easy to sit behind a computer screen and express and spread animosity. I wish we knew his identity.

Israel is absolutely not justified in the bombing of civilian neighborhoods and especially during their unwarranted invasion of Lebanon. But this becomes a habit of Israel, the Israelis killed many innocent people since (Israel) was established, they know nothing but the language of weapons and killing people, and they always use their powers excessively against civilians and innocents... they are terrorists and yes they are bums

Absolutely Hero! Their entry into Lebanon during their campaign against Hezbollah is hardly "unwarranted." These terr0rists have demonstrated time and again that any "peace talks" are merely an attempt to get Israel to make concessions while the terr0rists make plans for their next attack. As history has shown they have no interest in peace, compromise, or international opinion. The only thing that matters to the terr0rists is the destruction of Israel, and they will continue to inflict needless causalities until they are permanently and completely disarmed and incapacitated. Therefore, why should Israel sit around trying to make peace while the countries around them are essentially aiding through inaction in plots to bring about their demise while trying to weaken Israel's self defense by putting pressure on them in the form of insincere peace talks?

Hero, and they are not bombing civilian neighborhoods, if Hasballah was not cowards then they will not use civilians to shield them. They should all give up their terrorist ways and stop strapping bombs to themselves and killing others. That is sick. You consider it unwarranted to attempt to stop terrorists from firing rockets into your cities, when the Lebanese government does nothing to prevent Hezbollah from doing so. I wonder what it would take for you to consider an invasion warranted.

That being said, yes, I think Israel is justified in using force to stop an avowed terrorist organization, who has been attacking Israel for decades. It's Hezbollah that chooses to place their launch sites in civilian neighborhoods, and it's Hezbollah that stops Lebanese civilians from fleeing after Israel warns them to get clear.

Ofcourse Israel's actions are unjustified. They are not against just the terrorists but against the civilians too. They don't care how many people die or how many children are left homeless and abandoned. They will continue to do so whenever they wish against any country of their choice as long as the International community and the UN turn a blind eye to them.
