Went to the park by the river with my two year old. Took in the sites and smells of nature, the wind through the trees, the billowy clouds, the chirping birds, and the sound of the rushing water... was wonderful as always

Thanks for asking this question.
As someone mentioned, people do not do enough for their serenity these days! I've been contemplating how important it is to stay tuned to my serenity and planning to remember this throughout the coming year.
Today, I went for a hike in nature.
What a great chance to connect with myself and a higher awareness.
I learned some amazing things as I was walking. Realizations just crossed my mind and opened me to new ways of thinking, seeing, being.

I went to Sunday school (I'm the teacher!) and to church. Singing always gives me great peace, especially when I'm praising God and what He's done for me & all He's given me. Hearing the sermon, and how it applies to our lives now, gives me great peace too, just knowing that people went through some of the same stuff I'm going through, and have sometimes even come out better for having been through it. But, it's the music that brings me the most peace. I feel so much closer to Him when I'm singing. <*)))><

Nothing really shy of petting my dog and 2 cats. Later, I'll go outside and read and sit in the sun...or at least, just get outside. Sit on my deck.

I meditate every morning. I focus on the positive aspects in my life. I think about ways to overcome the negatives.
