I love it that most people will say donate, save, invest or buy a house. However, I want to know your most outrageous REAL-LIFE Million dollar fantasies. What would you do????

Honestly (because I'm a saver, not a spender) I would put the million into an internet savings account that has a 5%+ APY so that I can earn 50,000+ a year without working... which means I'll be making 4000+ a month doing nothing! haha. The less I spend, the more I make from compound interest.
I say savings account because 1. it's extremely liquid and 2. no penalties for early withdrawal

I would buy a 42 foot sail boat and sail due south from the tip of Baja California until I reach Easter Island. from there west, through the islands and New Zealand along Asia to India, Down to Madagascar and up the coast of Africa to the Suez canal. Into the Mediterranean and to Greece, Turkey and all of Europe. Then to Gibraltar, Spain, France and Morocco. Across the Atlantic to New York, down the coast to Panama Then Back up the coast to Los Angeles. Where I would settle down and teach part time.
This trip would take me 10 years because of all the time spent in the different places.
Of course, 1 million wouldn’t really cut it, but it’s my fantasy so it’ll stretch.

First thing...pay off debts...then probably make a couple of major purchases like a new car...I would say 'buy a house' but my husband's in the army and it would be inane to buy a house right now...so yes, I would invest a large chunk (maybe a few thousand) so that we could buy a kickass house when he gets out of the Army.
Hmmm...I'd probably buy an RV...my husband would probably buy a motorcycle, big screen TV and fancy high-tech entertainment center. Oh yeah....my husband wants a boat. Maybe a fancy computer desk...ooo...and one of those 'sleep number' beds...in fact...I'd probably buy all new bedroom furniture.
And then of course...there's the cruises and the travels that I've always wanted to do!!!
Hmmmm...that's all I can think of for now. I know it's probably not very original...but I'm a 'simple' girl...LOL

Well of course I'd quit my job first! Pay off the house, car etc. and build my bathroom and garage. But most of all I would buy all the empty store fronts in my little town and upgrade them to attract new business. Leaving one for myself of course. Keep the grocery store open and give my kids all jobs so they wouldn't be getting the "handout" without some effort. LOL And hire a private detective to find my long lost sister!

buy a hummer h1, and park it next to the guy who likes to brag he has the biggest car at work.... go on a trip back to africa for safari, buy a lamborghini.. and give the rest to my retired parents.
