Oh My Goodness Sweetie,
I have been through the same problem that you are now facing more than three times in my life. It is a very, very, very hard thing to do, but with God and your mind made up you can do it! You have to make sure that this is what you want and you have to think of yourself. You should love yourself more than you love this guy so your feelings is more important than your love for him. Pray and ask God for help and start going out and moving on with your life. Dont be sad be happy that you are going to meet someone that loves you more than you love this guy right now...it will all happen in due time.
God Bless

You can't if he's your soul mate. Yes, they do exist. I've never completely got over the guy I loved.

I do not have enough info to answer this question at my best so jus e-mail me @ joyce_travieza@yahoo.com since I do not go back to the questions on Yahoo Answers that I already answered.
Tell me the length of the relationship and how both of you treated each other. This will determine if you are even able to get over him.

I did it & so can you. It takes a lot of time & prayer. Also, it doesn't hurt to stay busy and get involved with friends & other activities or hobbies that you enjoy doing. It's possible to get over someone & a year from now, you won't feel the same way as you do now.

Stay positive. God bless you.

It takes time honey....and lots of tears. I've found that it is really true that things happen for a reason. As bad as you feel now, it will get better. Just try to move forward, and just feel thankful that you had that time together. who knows, maybe if you get strong and dont think about this guy, he will want you even more. It is funny how that works.

By waiting a while to feel sorry for yourself, then going out and finding another boy. This will happen to you many many many times by the time you get older. Don't worry. You'll be fine.

I was wondering the same thing.I guess the only way to get over the man you think you love is to play the field keep you're mind occupied and not to think about him at all. Men suck.

It depends on the individual. For some, it's one thing, and for others, something else.

Here are two suggestions and you can add more 'cause you're you and you know yourself better:

Try an exercise class or some other type of intensely engaging work out.
Try meditation -- find a good teacher!

Good luck! (I know you can do it).

Move on. There are too many guys out there to be crying over just one. Try loving yourself first before you do decide to date again.

Start talking to someone else and than you will fall in love again and forget all about your ex lover. I had this problem before. I stop talking to someone and yeah I missed him and still loved him but one day I started talking to someone else and adventually I forgot all about him. I am in love kow and I have been dating this person for 2 years.
