Okay, Friday night I took a shower and the tempature wasn't really that hot but I started to get very dizzy and my stomach started to hurt.

I dont think it was the heat because the bathroom door was open and the mirrors weren't even fogged up.

I had felt fine before I got into the shower, by the way.

I was having a hard time breathing and when I got out I got really dizzy again and felt like I needed to throw up but I ended up not throwing up.

I took a pepcid and sat on the floor for five or six minutes and then it all passed and I felt fine.

Prior to the shower I had eaten a turkey & provalone sanwich [at around 4:30-5:00PM], nad then at 6 I drank a Meijer brand Fruit Punch drink.

Has this happened to any of you before? Or do you know someone that this has happened to?
Should I be alarmed or not?

I wouldn't be alarmed. Concerned, perhaps. Could have been the sandwich. Less likely, might be too much chlorine in the water you showered with. If it continues to happen in the shower, have your water tested.... soon. If it continues after another turkey and provalone sandwich, I would look to one of the ingredients in the sandwich. Hopefully, it was just a short term illness of some kind.

'nuff said?

It happened to me once; I was showering and suddenly I felt as if I was going to faint. It was just that moment and then everything was fine after that. I personally don't think it's anything serious, but if you are really worried about it then you could talk to your doctor, or anyone you know that has some knowledge related to what happened to you.

Taking a shower in warm water can cause a drop in blood pressure. Other than that, I'm not sure I have an explanation. If it happens again, go see a doctor.

Maybe you were having a reaction to the drop in your blood sugar after having a wallop of sugar in that drink.I am hypoglycemic and if I am not careful that has happened to me.

No.. it has not happened to me.. I do not think you should be alarmed UNLESS it happens again for some unknown reason. It could have been something you ate.

While it has not happened to me before, if it happens again, you should defiantly go to the doc to find out what is going on.
