Mow your lawn at 6am.
I don't sleep at night, you don't sleep in the morning.

I think I would try improving the soundproofing of my room. On the wall that faces their house, I would hang a curtain (ceiling to floor length) the entire length of the wall. I would choose a thick, textured material. If you don't already have carpet on the floor, I would get some rugs. This will quiet things down a lot! Soundwaves like smooth surfaces to bounce off of - limit them and it gets quieter. And I would buy a sound machine to sleep with.
ps - I would continue to call the police if the noise level is beyond permissible limits. Generally it is rated in dB after a certain time, usually 10-11pm.

As previously suggested do call the police and report it EVERYTIME it happens.
Secondly, I would record the noise and the time it is occurring so you can show the police a log of the frequency of the disturbance.
You also might try the good neighbor route . . . go over speak to whom ever rules the roost, tell tham your problem and that you want to be good, friendly neighbors. You do not want to call the police and report them but you are entitled to peace in your own home, etc. This worked for me with a neighbor whose dog was barking into the wee hours . . . .
good luck . . .

LOL I had the same trouble, except it wasn't dance parties. Wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have big mouths! Anyway, I tried asking them to keep it down, they were keeping my child awake and waking her up. That worked for a while but then I called the cops and that seemed to help. Anyway, I would talk to your local PD and see if there is an ordinance for quiet time or disturbing the peace. See if you can file complaints or charges and let them know if they keep it up you will do it.

Find an attorney/lawyer friend to write a strongly worded letter containing lots of ridiculous terminology with the odd generic ally mcbeal phrase such as "serious legal action" thrown in there so they understand what they're reading. Include lots of various complaints of the damage you're suffering and present it to them in person. But first threaten them with legal action, if they continue show them the letter. Nothing intimidates a person more than something they half understand.

Have the power company cut off their power and do what else was suggested by mowing the lawn or someother loud chore to keep em awake in the early morning. Get the tow companies to tow all the party peoples vehicles.

You have to keep calling the police. After a while, they'll get sick of responding and actually do something about it, just to keep you from bugging them. Short of that, your only option is to move.
