People will disagree with me but whenever the massive games were played a lot of the teams were sub-standard, for example Brazil, England, Argentina went out with a punch up. When you watch the TV adverts showing all the players it looks much more spectacular than on the pitch, especially with Brazil

If you really know anything about football you would realise this was one of the most superb TOURNAMENTS,its not about 1,2 or 10 players playing well its about whole countries stopping work to watch Gods greatest game, over half a million people at a time congregated in Germany to watch the games on giant screens in town squares and to celebrate winning or cry about losing together without malice, given the way the world is shaping up at the moment [Americans please note ] we could take a lesson !!

Im a huge soccer fan and i play soccer. I thought that the World Cup was very interesting and exciting. No one really thought that the final two teams would be France and Italy. Everyone thought that Brazil or Germany was going to win. But there was a lot of surprises and upsets this year in the World Cup.

Very disappointing, my favorite teams were out too soon. I wanted Brazil to win. that wasn't the case, the second team was England and they were out too. I wasn't hopping for Italy to win, to be honest with you.

No its just you, the best football at world cup is always played by the smaller teams as the larger ones get buckled with pressure. if you had watched every match you would have been happy!

I'm a newer soccer fan, and I'd have to say I enjoyed it. But I can see what your saying, and looking back at it with a point of view of someone that has watched soccer for years and years, I guess it kinda was disappointing.

Italy rules. You are just sore losers. Let me guess you are from England and you got so angry you caused a disturbance and where evicted from the council house.

Well, how old are you? I ask because, as we get older we become less impressed with things that use to thrill and elate us.
