This is a good one.
Mary means "bitter, sour; sea of bitterness." For real.
The sad thing is, although I don't think that I am bitter, I'm not the friendliest person around. I'm extremely introverted (except on the internet or through a medium like this website), and even though I am incredibly close and social with my friends, I don't really feel the need to talk to, meet, or socialize with other people. Oddly enough, my husband is the exact opposite.
I find it strange that the name "Mary", which I assume was given meaning after Jesus' mother, would have such a negative meaning. If Mary was rude, I missed that part of the Bible.

My name is Sassa (pronounced like Sasha), and it means defender/helper of mankind. I think it fits me. I'm always defending my friends and everyone else, and I do my best to help others. I get pretty heated when I see others being mistreated or suffering at all, and I want to help them. I also have the tendency to want to defend God and my religion, but I have a big mouth, and so a lot of times I make people angrier, so maybe I should work on that.
