The descendants of Abraham crystallized into a nation at about 1300 BCE after their Exodus from Egypt under the leadership of Moses (Moshe in Hebrew). Soon after the Exodus, Moses transmitted to the people of this new emerging nation, the Torah, and the Ten Commandments. After 40 years in the Sinai desert, Moses led them to the Land of Israel, that is cited in The Bible as the land promised by G-d to the descendants of the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The people of modern day Israel share the same language and culture shaped by the Jewish heritage and religion passed through generations starting with the founding father Abraham (ca. 1800 BCE). Thus, Jews have had continuous presence in the land of Israel for the past 3,300 years.

Its hard to answer a question from a person who can't spell does

And about half the country hates Jews or condemns them.

And for your story's in the bible about the Jews and god. Is this the same book that claims people lived to be 800 years old?

Is this the same book that claimed that some old fart In the dessert waved his hand and parted the sea?

Is this the same book that claimed some dude built a boat by himself bigger then the Titanic and managed to get every animal, mammal, and insect on this boat without getting his head tore off by a lion or tiger?

Hey Pal, I got ocean front property in the Sahara desert, really good deal I swear.

Why does the U.S. support Israel?

Because Israel is the only stable democratic nation in the Gulf region. It is also the only hedge against Islamic Fundamentalist jihadists.

The Israelis took worthless, barren land and turned their nation into an economic powerhouse in the Middle East, not from oil, but from commerce.

Many of their neighbors are jealous over the success of the Israelis, so the land Israel now holds has become important. It didn't used to be, simply because it was a bit of a wasteland.

This conflict is not so much about religion as it is about jealousy over the success the Israelis have built.

If the jihadists ever realize their dreams of destroying Israel, you can look for that land to return to a wasteland again in the hands of religious extremists. It would destroy any buffer the free world has in that area.

If Israel falls, so do the oilfields of the Middle East. That is why some of the more moderate states (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE) are willing to make peace with Israel and don't (as nations) support the jihadists.

For the safety and security of the oilfields and the world ... we must support Israel.

If you know the story of Israel and the Jews i think you remember what the Jews do to one of them who everybody knows is Jesus, and when Jesus die it's the Jews they killed him. After this the Father God of Jesus say to the Jews you will never be in peace and have a true land. So since 2,000 years Israel have a problem to keep for long time their land. I'm sorry for them but it's not a decision about human remember the second war 39-45 how many Jews died in this war, and around the world so many Jews don't have or live in a true country. Anyway, it's just my observation and personally i don't hate nobody in this world because if they made something wrong they don't know the best.

What does "heritage" and the ridiculous claim of "G-ds promise" have to do with price of milk? Seems like the American Indians, who got an equally bad rap, are making similar claims.

Americans know that we have a good life and we have mostly stood up for those who don't. We also have a very vocal minority, apparently including you, that touts Israel and Judaism like nothing else mattered.

Israel, also known as bani isreal followers of moses and very much near to islam, infact if u study both judism and islam they are very much similar in practices like circumcision, eating from same plate, following strict code, both religion ppl dont marry outside their clan and belief.
USA is supporting them cuz in way they are keeping an eye on middle east oil and beside they control newyork stock exchange and US economy, take out the rich ppl list in america and europe u will find all of them jews.Jews of america went to Isreal in 1967 just like fundamentalists islam to defend their jewish state, they dont say it openly or talk abt jehad but they also have concept of not letting anyone converting to judism and every jew has this duty to defend their state that has came into being on the jewish ideology and god forbid if america stop supporting jews then they might declare a war on america,so leaders of america are very much hostage to them due to their economic power and jewish supported state.

The U.S.A supports them in dis-unity. Christians are waiting for the government of Israel to stop preserving orthodox Judaism by government mandate.
