2. If it's his, tell the truth. Let the chips fall everywhere.

I'm a little confused. If you had a year long affair that ended last Nov, how could he think a 2 year old was his? Were you with him 3 years ago break up and then get back together for a year? If that is true then maybe you need to be with your boyfriend more than your husband. You seem to keep winding up with him.
I think you need to make up your mind about how you'll be better off; with your husband your boyfriend or on your own. Decide what will be most fulfilling for YOUR life then work to move yourself in that direction

If you still keep in contact with him then the affair didn't end, just the sex did. Is the kid his? What is your husbands problem is he brain dead or what? I can't believe he allows you to continue talking to a guy you had an affair with. If you are so miserable in your marriage (and by the way that is no excuse for cheating and doesn't make it ok) why don't you just leave? All you are doing is wasting your life and his.
