Nothing with any weight, but there's a small republican movement within the UK.

A republican party which supports the ending of the monarchy and the rise of a British Republic, yes there is one...but is a small one...more like an association than a national party

if you intend "Is there a British party which has a similar position of US republican party..." well it might be the Tories party (conservative), even tough new labour party is nowadays very similar too...

yes,The Conservative party. The Liberal party is the equivalent of the Democrats and the USA has no equivalent of the Labour Party.Lucky them.

I can't believe people are saying 'no',they don't understand politics obviously.

I would hate the UK to become a republic. Just look at those countries that are, nothing but strife and internal bickering. No be proud of our Queen even with warts and all (hangers on). Though I think that our Prime Minister would love My homeland to become a republic, him and his poxy wife.

Sorry to rant.....No! No I am not.

i bloomin well hope not - monarchy has never done us much harm - lets face facts - a president bush or reagan or jong il doesn't bear thinking about - if you want a republic better sod off somewhere which has one - many ex-monarchies have very active restoration parties/movements - lets get back to impartial head of state - our system is the best!!
