don't go.
they say wait 2 weeks before you go swimming.
not only is submerging bad, but being in direct sunlight won't be good for it either. stay inside in the air conditioner to beat the heat... the heat is temporary, that tattoo is forever.
you have Have HAVE to take good care of it while it heals.

:)

You are not supposed to submerge your tattoo under water for 2 weeks. This will give the tattoo enough time for it to heal. Do not pick or remove any scabs. If you submerge the tattoo under water, the scabs will come off too early. This can take away the colour of your tattoo.
Also if you go in the water...you have an open wound trying to heal nicely. The better this wound heals, the nicer your tattoo colour will look.

NO liquid bandage, NO plastic coverings on the tattoo, NO pools, NO lakes,NO covering the tattoo with any air tight seals. Don't do it! It needs to breathe to heal!

This is the reason why summer is the worst season to get a tattoo. Its hot and people want to swim.

Get some "Liquid Bandage" to protect it, or a lot of the color will fade if you soak it.

You need to keep it covered put something on it if you just have to get in the water...but it would be best to just wait.

its ok to shower just dont use soap on it. no dont go swimming. you dont want infections. use aloe vera either the plant directly or aloe vera cream. this will help heal it quicker.
