It is a lynksys wireless router. I need the key to add another computer to the system.

Do you mean the wireless security key (WEP or WPA) key?
If so, just login to the router and set a new one!
If you mean the router login password, then you will have to reset the router to factory settings and reconfigure it!

im pretty sure no key is stored on the sytem. your best option is to reset the router and start over.

reset ur router, and make a new password. go to linksys.com, and they'll explain how to reset it.
now make sure u right this thing down, or create a file on ur computer with all ur passwords.
