Dude, that happens all the time. Was that way in the 80s with the 49ers, same in the 90s with Dallas. Whoever wins, they have a brand new set of bandwagon fans--until someone else wins.

True fans are the ones that stick with the team through their ups and downs. I have been a 49er faithful all my life--even though now they aren't doing that great. Ok, they stink. But I go to my season ticket seat every home game and root for them, because they are my team. You can weed a bandwagon fan out of a crowd of loyals easily.

The Steelers are always in the top 5 of NFL merchandise sales every year for the last 30 years. Look it up. And considering that Pittsburgh is one of the smallest cities in the NFL, all of those things are being sold nation wide. What is really annoying are people all over the country walking around in Michael Vick jerseys as if they know something about football or they think Vick is a good quarterback.

And as for you Joker, I hope you got your seatbelt fastened cause its going to be another looooooong season for you, sporto.

You don't have to worry about me for two reasons...I'm a Carolina Panthers fan and I don't much like Atlanta obviously....and I don't think Atlanta even has a hope to make the super bowl...that is a tough division this year and Atlanta looks the least impressive of the four.

I went to Penn State, and believe me, TRUE Pittsburgh fans are loyal. The others are copycats, which is caused by the media and merchants. Which would sell better right now, a Patriots shirt or a Steeler shirt? It's all about the money AND my Carolina Panthers!!!!

Go Browns all the way. You can't accuse me of being a front runner. I've always loved the Indians, Browns, Cavs and Flames. Not exactly a bunch of championship calibre teams.

Stiller fans irk me anyway, especially the ones who live in northern Ohio.

Yeah that pretty much happened. I'm a fan of the game, not really a team. And seeing that my home team is the Browns, I'm in trouble.

Happens every year to every team in every sport.

People are sheep.

BTW, I became a birds fan when they drafted my man, Roddy White. He will bust out this year. Wait and see.
