I'm wanting to make some plastic gourds. What'd I need to make them?

I'm talking about the gourds like the purple martin birds nest in. I assume I'd need a mold. I know nothing about this but would like to learn to make some. And where could I get the items (mold/plastic and whatever else) I'd need to make them.

much cheaper to buy them, to manufacture them requires thousands of dollars of special equipment!
better yet grow them and make your houses from them!
