In the movie Unfaithful with Diane Lane and Richard Gere, why does the wife cheat on her husband? Out of boredom is the only thing I could come up with because everything else in her life was pretty good.

I think she figured out her hubby was gay!!Actually I am a bored housewife married 23 years and I think alot of women just want to feel really desired again,and new sex is always hot!Oddly enough strangers on the street always say I could be Diane Lanes twin.Is this good or bad?
