i've also heard there is a reset button that when you get to a certain # of miles you have to press anyone know

4 to 4.5 quarts depending on if engine is v-tec or not. The reset button on newer cars is the trip-odometer reset button To reset the maintenance light push in this button with the key off. While holding in the button turn the key to the run position & hold the button in for at least 10 seconds. The light will flash a few times and then go out.

On older civics there was a little green/red indicator on the bottom of the gauge panel. It would turn red once the car reached a certain mileage - for oil change intervals. To reset this, use a key and insert it into the little slot next to the red/green indicator & push lightly. If it is red you should see it change to green. The maintenance indicator is now reset.

not exactly sure but i think it is about 3 1/2 quarts .the honda dealership here uses castrol 5 w30 LOOK IN OWNERS MANUAL

four quarts,castrol oil 20/50 very good oil
