My friend's baby had that problem too, she took her to the doctor and she told her that she might be lactose intolerant so they switched her formula and she was fine! You could also try some dark Karo syrup in her formula!

My daughter has been on Enfamil Lipil for 6 months, she is 9 months now, and has never been constipated. Works for us, maybe there is a different kind she can try?

Enfamil is good, if she is constipated just add another bottle like juice. If that does not work add 1/2 teaspoon of dark Karo syrup to 8oz of formula.

My pediatrician gave me the advise over 18 years ago.

I tried Similac, Enfamil, and store brand. Similac my baby spit up on, and Enfamil and store brands caused constipation. Then, my doctor suggested Nestle Good Start Supreme. It's easier to digest and I haven't had ANY problems. Good Luck!

Alot of children get constipated on formulas.....i know my son did. We went with the Walmart Brand after trying all the others Enfamil, Similac, Good Start...Etc....and it helped alot. The doctor also gave us constulous...which is when they get really constipated give them a drop of this and it helps them have a BM within 15min :) Hope this helps !!

Give baby some prune juice and do abdominal masage. My 8 month old is on Enfamil Lipil, she gets constipated sometimes. I just give her prunes and it all comes out.....

my daughter drinks enfamil lipil and does well on it. if your baby is older than 6 months old you can give her some prunes and apple juice, that will clear it right up. if she is younger than 6 months you should bring her to a doctor to talk about switching her formula.

My daughter had problems with Enfamil and her doctor switched her to Isomil Advance and she is fine now. Check with your doctor, though, before switching her formula.

It constipated my first daughter too!

We switched to nestle goodstart & it really made a difference!

And on the plus side it was much cheaper!!!

So we just used it for our second daughter also & never had any problems with her at all!!!

Good Luck!!!

My children use to get sick off of it and my boys use to also get sick off Similac, but were OK with Good Start, my daughter was OK With Similac, so its different for each child but Enfamil made all three sick so I didn't care for it.
