I'm not necessarily talking about your "lover". And how do you like to be loved in return?

I am more a "do" person than a "word" person.I think the best way to show somebody you love 'em,whether it's your lover, mother, father, brother, sister, best friend or whatever is just being there for them.I mean,I had a lot of people in my life who always swore they love me,and that they will always be by my side, but guess who's by my side right now.....right none of those.
I think saying "I love you" is the easy way, they 're just words, you can even say them even if you don't mean them....No I would rather have someone in my life who never says he/she loves me than someone who constantly says he/she loves me but isn't there when I actually need 'em.

I think everybody needs love in different ways. I'm currently dating a guy and we haven't even kissed yet (which is strange for me), but we have spent some really special time together just hanging out and stuff. I try to show him how much I care about him by genuinely listening when he talks to me, and trying to give back as much of the really good feeling that he's making me feel.

Personally as a woman I require a lot of attention, but not so much that it is annoying. There is a sort of balance that I require and this guy meets that balance. I like a man to be attentive to my needs and make sure that I'm okay, but not in a nagging, constantly asking sort of way.

I hope I answered your question... I felt more like I was gushing about this guy. : )

Being treated with respect, as an equal, and being cared about the way you care about them. Screw the gifts and dates. Just make sure you're each cared about by the other. That's my philosophy.
