Hisbolla are shia muslims that are lebanese national. Since Syria is mainly shia they have sympathies with hesbolla and have supported them in the past

hesboalah, although mainly a party in lebanon are an extreme muslim group with membersthroughout the middle east. Lebonan is a small country and too weak to defeat such a strong militant group. Hesbolah are funded greatly by both Iran and Syria hence the link.

hisbollah means "the party of god". its nationality cannot be defined using ethnic categorization, but it can be said to be a "politicoviolent" organisation formed to destroy oppositon in the arab world. that opposition is chiefly, ISRAEL. syria is a primary financier (also Iran,lebanon and other some arab countries) and arms supplier to hesbollah. the root of isbollah can be traced to the root of Islam.

hezbolla can be seen as an extension of the Iranian army. They are well trained moderately well equipped and are not seeking to win a war with Israel. Syria provides munitions and rockets to them and Iran as also provided material and training. Make no mistake, hezbolla cannot win and they know it, they want to simply take as many jewish lives as possible.
