I believe our souls are that part of us in which Christ breathed life into us, it's out connection to Him. Our personalities are developed through life experiences and we begin to take on characteristics that will make us unique -- the essence you could say, of our being. When we die, our Soul or our Spirit returns to heaven (og God forbid hell), so I think our soul/spirit is that part of us that has all the truth and information about who we are born to be and who God meant for us to be before we got lost and subjected to the realities of life in this earth classroom of learning. The fact that we both share many of the same attributes in the beginning -- gifts of the spirit seem to indicate we come here free of prejudice or opinions so I think our souls at the beginning no no different. It's the things we learn and experience that affect how we begin to see and accept ourselves as men or woman. That's not a soul thing, that's a personality, learned behavior thing. Or so it seems. I've read a lot about this but, it's a question only God will answer on day when he's asked by an inquisitive mind.

I don't think they are any different. We still get soul mates because different "souls" pair up better than others. It's the same as same-sex friendships. Two females can be the best of friends because they are friendship "soul mates."

It is said that we all are half male and half female.
Males are taught to accentuate the masculine side, females - the feminine side. Thus opposites attract.
So I think there is no difference.

About the soul mate stuff - i dont believe in that. You can love a lot of people if you are open enough..

Souls are simply the composite of your mind, emotions, and hormones. Since males are different from females in that regard, then yes, male and female souls are different.

a "soul" is an abstract concept, defined in different ways by different humans. if there is such a thing, i imagine they would be unique to each person--more about what's unique to each individual, rather than what's unique about each individual's sex.
