I was convicted in 2003 for medical billing errors and given Felony charges. I have no other conviction and probation and Judge has given me Early Discharge from Probation and also was given Certificate of Release from Disability and told me to get a Job .But with my all best efforts and intention I can not get a job and support myself ,my wife and my five children. Are there any New York State of Fedrel Programs which help ex offenders to change their life ,learn new skills and get job and support themself Probation and parole has no answers And I this is catch 22 or hippocicy or enven aTRAP when Judges courts and probation order convict people to get job, support themself and their families as a part of conditions and on the other hand all government agencies ban them from jobs and other private sectors follows.It is legal to discriminzate these people. How the can support them self and their kids and improve their lives.Any solution

Try the unemployment office. If they can't get you a job, then no one can.

May I suggest you start your own business. Yard care is a very lucrative business and you answer to no one. A single push mower will get you started cheaply.

temporary labor companies are a very good resource for starting over..you need to prove yourself at the entry level again and work your way up..good luck
