Maybe, but the article clearly states that it was an Israeli air attack. Whoever manufactured them doesn't matter. They are responsible.

The US, however, is probably indirectly responsible for more deaths around the world than any other nation past or present due to it's policy of making money from the selling of weapons without considering the outcome of their use.

If you're American I hope you're proud of the way your government does this.

Possibly since American does manufacture a lot of weapons. As for it being the act of an American, who knows? With all the fighting between the Israelis and Hezbullah (excuse the spelling, I don't know) there's no way to tell who's "collateral damage" it is. Let's just pray it all ends soon. War is horrible. Also, Israel manufactures some of their own weapons as well as buy American made stuff. It's a toss up.

Possibly, although Israel also has a substantial arms industry. You're worried about a few civilian deaths? What about years of indiscriminate killing by Palestinian suicide bombers? Where do you think Hezbollah got its Katyushka rockets to fire at Israel? Russia, thats where and also where the weapon that has killed more people than any other (including American) since World War II, the AK-47 & AK-74.

The fuel and the weapon delivery system (aka the fighter plane) might be American, but the actual weapon (bombs, bullets, missles) was probably made in Israel. During Gulf War II and Afganistan, the U.S. was actually buying bullets from Israel for awhile.

There's a good chance it was, but Israel has it's own military production they also buy weapons from the British, the French and others. Regardless, bombing people on either side is wrong.
