Skype make the profound claim "The whole World can talk for free." Which is great, except you've got to BUY credit. Last time I looked "free" meant not having to pay. Legally, is this fraud?

Don't know if it is illegal, it is the same if you by a TracFone at Wal-Mart. $19.95 is all. They don't tell you until you ask that you have to buy a prepiad phone card that averages $.57 per minute.

To me, it is called "bait and switch". You have to pay attention.

There is no free lunch in this era we live in.

Well, it doesn't say talk to each other, so maybe that's their loophole.

The best thing is that after you buy credit it works horribly. I was calling to the UK and they just couldn't hear me.
