How can the "media" ever know the full story about anything. They can only report what they can see, and just like you or me, we will never be privy to all the information or facts about any issue you care to mention. I think for the most part they attempt to be unbiased, but just like you and me, we/they can never totally seperate ourselves from our emotions and see with unbiased eyes. There are some few people who can see with shall I say "clear" eyes but, allas, these people seldom or never choose a profession in news broadcasting. They're motivations just don't lead them in that direction. Instead, each man must know that the news media has these and other limits and he must learn to develope his own set of "clear" eyes if he ever has any hope of knowing the true nature of any situation, be it the Isreal/Lebanon sadness or any other issue. In short, don't expect miracles from the news media, instead look inside yourself for the truth. Sorry if this comes off sounding preachy but this is only my opinion on the subject.

I have noticed the same thing. The story in your link is pretty horrifying but nothing out of the ordinary for war. Why are they neglecting to say that Israel gave plenty of warning with leaflets and such to the civilians before hand? We are standing at the precipice of a new age of anti-Semistism. Anti-Israel bias is going to get much much worse.

I believe in facts, which does not include the media. Israel is sick of sitting around and waiting to get blown up, or slaughtered again. Who can blame them, look at all they've been through. They have a right to life and this time no one is going to take it from them.
