I live in the zip code 43615 and i cannot find it anywhere...what happened to the movie?

It is about to be released on DVD, August 22nd is the release date.

I think it happened to fall under the same curse of "video game movies people don't really want to see".... Sadly, to me Silent Hill is a great video game, the sound of it becoming a movie was just awesome!.
Similar curses were spelled on "Alone In the Dark", "Doom", "Street Fighter", "House of the Dead", "Mortal Kombat" (though it make it to the movies 3 times!)...
I think the only one that could be saved from the curse is Resident Evil, and its sequel.
You can wait to catch it on DVD August 22nd 2006.

You are not missing anything. We saw it in the theater and what made the game good, did not translate over into this 90 minute waste of effort and time. If you like the game "Doom" and then saw the movie "Doom", it would be the double the let down for Silent Hill.
