and ebay has a discussion board for shoes, purses and accessories. They have some GREAT resources & people on that board that really know their stuff.
Personally I wouldn't know a real one if I saw it. i prefer the knockoffers (replicas) so I can have a cute bag and a even cuter price :)

Its fairly easy to tell. A fake bag will be made of synthetic leather so wont smell real. The cowhide that they use on authentic Vuittons will turn a dark honey brown color, fakes will not. The inside of the Monogram bags are usually a brown material. The white Multicolore bags with have a deep red Alcantra lining and the black ones will have grey. The inside of replica bags will be a beige suede. All of the monograms will line up and none of the LV monograms will but cut off. Except on the Speedy's on the sides at the top.. If the monograms are skinny and narrow. For example: http://www.sell.com/2N651. That is a an extremely bad replica. The Multicolore pochettes NEVER have bows on them. And notice have there is only about 9 colors? There is ALWAYS 33. Now http://www.sell.com/224P76. That is an EXTREMELY good replica. No telltale signs of being fake just by looking at it. So you have to be careful when buying any designer bag online. Replica makers are getting extremely well at copying the authentic down to the very last detail. My advice.. goto the Boutique or eLuxury.com if you authentic.

You can tell by the straps or handles on the bag and also the monograms are a little bit different in size and look at the material! i would take it to a louie vuitton store and look at the model u have and compare to the actual model of that bag.

You can tell by looking and seeing inside if it says authentic louis vuitton or the stitching or look to see the letters ar LV not othher things

The really good ones are difficult to tell its all in the materials...I have a lot of experience with fashion so I can tell if its a fake or not...also the stitching and the quality of what we call the finish..

Take yours to the store and compare it to an authentic one. If it's different then you gots yourself a knockoff.
