That would have to be my Dad. Mom died when I was 14 and left my Dad to care for 6 boys and 1 girl alone. It wasn't easy for him. It was in the sixties and how he managed to stay sane with 7 hippies in the house is beyond me but he passed away in 1999 and I was pleased to see him trust Jesus for his salvation before he left this world. He went to court to fight to keep us all together through the years and to this day I can tell you Mr. Shepherd raised 7 children that never had to question whether they were loved or not. From My Dad I learned how tough it can be to love sometimes but love is always the best answer to what comes your way and it was him that taught me that faith is not in vain. And the best part is I get to see him again someday in heaven

My father and mother.even though we don't speak they gave me the tools to survive and become a productive member of society and the strength to endure the tragedies I have faced.
