As a pharmacy student in a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program, I'd say address them however you feel comfortable-- Mister, Doctor, or sir is okay. Like petlover said, not all of the workers at a pharmacy are pharmacists; some are pharmacy technicians.
At the pre-pharmacy forum on the Student Doctor Network, there's even confusion among future & current pharmacy students about which one is preferable.

Anyways, I think it's a good sign that you care about manners.

It depends on the training of the pharmacist. Some pharmacy programs are now PhD programs - so if your pharmacist has a PhD they should be addressed as Dr. Most individuals working in a pharmacy do not have this advanced education. Many are pharmacy techs - so you would have to look at the initials after their name on their name tag.

MR
pharmacy school is not the same as medical school, they are not doctors
but it is good to say MR and treat them with respect
(or they might switch your pills haha)
