usually it dosent work, what you should do is start seeing other people and let him know, if hes serious he will make a move if not play him a bit are whatever then stop seeing his ***.It will hurt him knowing you broke it off, right now he thinks hes the one in control, prove him wrong.

I adore my husband of 10yrs, we can not get enough of one another. Our only regret is that we didn't move in with one another the day we met and spent every second with one another travelling and being free from kids. We dated for two years and then moved in together and had kids got married etc (in that order). We are never apart. We both hate when the other has to go out or to work. It's almost unhealthy but we don't care because beyond it all we are very independent. I hope you find what I have because it makes every day worth living.

Move on. How much of your life are you willing to give up? You're not getting any younger. Turn the page. Set your sights elsewhere. Good luck, hon!

You have to talk to him straight up, but I mean honestly. Don't play our girlie crying game w. him, don't judge or blame. More like "honey, you seem tense lately, what's wrong? work, sex, midlife crisis....." He'll more likely tell you, but girl, watch your mouth - we tend to jump in conversation and make our own conclusion, than you just end up w. fight and more problems. And if he tells you the problem, let it be, he'll propably be so glad to get it of his chest he'll solve it by himself. Good luck!

My parents had one of those love-at-first-sight marriages, and they're still happily married after more than seventeen years.
