Oh get real. I don't have a problem with fur, and even if I did, why would I hold it personally against ANYONE for wearing it?
Besides, what kind of animal rights activist are you with a nickname of Bee Eater? Watch out, PETA will come after you to change it.

I think it is disgusting of them to wear fur. Whether or not you are an animal lover, how is it allright to wear the skin of something that was once alive when it was probably not even dead when they skinned it?
Most of the places where the animals are bred for these coats have no laws about how the animals are to be treated. Here in the US we have laws that control how animals that are used for food are to be treated. To ensure that their quality of life while they are alive is decent and that they are killed in a humane way, and to ensure that method actually kills them before anything is done with them.
The animals used to make fur coats are often still alive and aware of what is going on when they are having their skin sliced off of them. Nice, huh? And, they are kept in small cages by themselves that are so small they can hardly move. All this is to ensure that their fur is untainted or stained when they are skinned. The small animals, like minks, are social animals that like to run around and play. How would these "people" like it if they were locked in a small box until they were ready to be skinned alive? J-Lo has beautiful skin, I am sure that someone is sick enough to find a use for it!!!!! I wonder how she would feel if she were kept in a tiny box and not allowed to go out and spend all her money playing with her friends?
Anyway, I think that explains how I feel about it!!!

It is a personal choice to wear and purchase and support this type of industry. If they have no problems with it then that would be their choice.
If you have a problem with it is your choice to voice your opinion and support causes which you believe in.
I do not wear fur. I have nothing against it but most are to dressy for the way I dress and I think they are sort of ugly. I do however wear a leather coat. I have no problem with it I know a cow dies for me to wear it. I am not now a vegetarian I eat meat and know an animal gave its life for my dinner. I was vegan for years.
If you feel so strongly get in with a group who supports the legislation to stop the fur trade and they would love to have more help.

coyotes,racoons,skunk,opossumand fox populations are out of controlbecause of animal rights groups like peta.these animals prey on ground nesting birds and other animals such as quail,phesant,rabbits,ducks and geese.now their numbers are declining.i dont see anything wrong with trapping.the animals that are being trapped have no natural enemies and will continue growing out of control .instead of complaining be part of the solution.how else do we curb the population of fur bearing animalswhats your solution?????

I trap raccoons opossoms n such for their pelts, so they (people) can keep on wearing fur !!! The more popular it is to wear fur the higher the prices go for the animals I trap !!!
