The US and its staunch ally the UK started the wars in Afganistan, Irak, support the destruction in Lebanon , and now they are trying to concoct something up against Iran and Syria.

Now that Bin Laden sees Lebanon on fire, he should be saying to himself that the West is proving him right. The world can see what's happening. He always says that the West are out against the Muslim world, they want to impose their will and culture on them.

Since all British prime ministers before Blair always supported peace settlement in the Middle-East, why is Blair being a fallout by supporting Israel's carnage in Lebanon? Must he do as Bush wishes? Is this something of an Anglo-Saxon hegemony?

What Israel is doing in Lebanon in pursuit of Hezbolla is like cutting a dragon's head off, seven will immediately sprout out in its place. They are only unknowingly recruiting the young to join the Hezbolla cause. Violence breeds violence.

It never surprises me to hear people like you and the way you see the world events unfold. Is it that you want to be seen as a totally ignorant observer, or maybe you haven't even read the cut & paste you posted. In ether case; you have no credability and i for one think you are just a trouble maker looking to upset others with your retoric.
I understand there are at least 2 sides to every issue; but it's like you are living in another world, your side doesen't even exist, it is a total fabrication.

The historical support between Syria, Iran and the Hezbollah is at matter of public record. This situation in the Lebanon has nothing to do with Bin Laden (although I'm sure he is enjoying it). What Hezbollah and Bin Laden want are different, i.e. destruction of the Isreal v's destruction of the the Western world with the creation of fundementalist Muslim states respectively.

I agree that violence breeds violence but when three of Isreals soliders were kidnapped, five of their rescuing party were killed. You can't really get a clearer act of war than that. Isreal will live in peace with its neigbours. Its neighbours won't live in peace with Isreal.

As for Blair, I don't know why such an seemingly intelligent man follows America's policies so blindly.

Yes. agreed.

The biggest terrorists were and still are the zionists who stole land from the palestinians by a series of massacres in 400 villages. Menachim Begin was even officially wanted by the British as a terrorist for stringing up two british soldiers and blowing up a hotel with his band of thugs.

Arial Sharon was a war criminal who guilty of the massacre of old men women and children in the Sabra and Chatilla refugee camps last time the Israelis were in Lebanon. They never actually left and were still kidnapping and shelling villages/people and shooting people including UN observers.

If the israeli soldiers were in Lebanon when they were captured then the the lebanese have a right to defend themselves. The israelis still have tens of thousands of prisoners they torture including women and children.

Israel is the worlds fourth largest military spender (~7%) behind the US (~50%), France (~18%) and the UK (~14%).

This is a David and Goliath contest again, this time with israel as the oversize Goliath - Muslims believe David was a muslim and a prophet.

You deserve a medal for trying to think for yourself.

PS. Bin Laden was formally a US hero and got US funding for fighting against the russians who invaded Afghanistan (for most of the reasons that the US in now invading Muslim countries one by one).

I agree with you that violence can only breed more violence. I believe many of the events that have recently taken place and that are taking place now are reactions to violence. The real problem is that everyone feels justified in their use of force against others. The Muslim groups feel justified, the U.S. and the U.K. feel justified, and Israel feels justified; all feel that the time to talk things over has ended and the only solution is war.

You sound as though you hold the Muslims as innocent? Muslims are innocent, but there are some groups that have declared they will wage war until all people of the world convert to Islam. It is not the Muslim religion that is the target, but these groups. How can any one group believe that all of mankind should agree with its point of view? That is a rather naive way of looking at the world and the people that occupy it. Until we are willing to accept everyone for who they are, there will always be conflict.

You cant have peace you friggin idiot. When will you happy fairly land hippies get that through your head. Evil people will propagate war and hatred, and dont care how many or in what manor people are killed. They wage wars that last for decades, that empower dictators who oppress their peoples and subject them to horrific living conditions and even less humane deaths.

If you are content to sit around and ignore these people, and let them attack others, including us, while we do nothing except shake our fingers and chant 'shame on you' then by all means, please, take your brownies and koolaid some place else and have your little party.

This is the real world where people need protecting, tyrants and dictators need to be held accountable by someone more powerful than themselves, and the long term protection of our own country and freedom has to be taken into consideration.

Terrorists are the same breed as communists, they want control, and they want power. Even America can fall to that demise if no one takes the time to cripple their forces while theyre open for attack, and the polictical and diplomatic means are within reach.

Turning a blind eye to evil terrorists acts does not cause them to stay quiet and peaceful. It only provides them an environment to grow and strengthen in.

If USA stops intervention in middle east and allow Muslims to live peacefully all terrorism will vanish and world peace will arrive.Every bomb creates thousands of terrorists. The breeding ground of world terrorism is Pakistan. There are thousands of terrorist training camps in Pakistan. These terrorists reach other parts of the world through Afghanistan,China,Iran and Iraq and Lebanon..American support to Pakistan is root of terrorism.Since USA wants a base in Asia,it supports terrorist Pakistan and ignores democratic India.

what do you aim to prove? Britain is independent of the US. people like you like to say silly things to get credit. what is happening in Israel now is an act of stupidity on the part of hezbollah to have broken the peace. it is essential to fight terrorism so that people like you can live. give al qaeda, hezbollah, hamas, PLO and all the other terrorist organisations a chance, and they would have taken over your homeland. Islamic terrorists dont care for anyones freedom. look at what they do to their own people (Iraq, Afghanistan etc). even syria thats supporting Hez are only doing it because they want lebanon (they occupied that land until recently). if not for Bush and other anti terror nations, they would have taken over the whole of the middle east, after which they would have come for europe, australia, africa and america. they dont care whether you live or not (see what they do firing rockets from amongst women and children). they care only about themselves.

Bush has a picture of Blair dressed up as Maggie Thatcher in his wallet which he is using to blackmail Tony into following every dumb idea his string pullers come up with.

They should employ the same idea I do when my kids are fightin, move em away from one another and confiscate the toy they're arguin over.
