I tried not eating meat for 2 months. My skin became pale...I had to run to the bathroom all of the time and my iron level dropped. So, yes I consume mass quanities of beef! Love it...have to have it!

The human body needs meat. I can't offer you any original experimentation or research, but I can give you a good example. My dad is in his late 40s, and he decided to join a 40+ soccer league. He was a vegetarian. His diet was pretty much exactly what vegetarians recommend. He found that his energy levels were low, and he wasn't performing as well as the other players who are around the same age, and some body weight. I suggested that he should go back to eating meat. Sure enough, after taking my advice, he is now a lot faster, and a lot more energetic. He's even lost 20 pounds in the last 2 months alone. I believe that eating meat is not only essential to a human's diet, but that it's actually a lot better than eating only vegetables. Anyway, do you think lions are evil for hunting for their food and killing their prey? Do you think the wolf is a sinner for doing what it does to survive? All lifeforms have to consume to survive. We are no different. Humans require many different sources of sustenance. Plants are necessary to our survival as well. So we cannot be blamed for trying to survive. Even if the plants feel pain, even if the cows feel pain, there can be no blame for it, because it's necessary for our survival.

For what other reason were animals put here, if not for food? Even scientists say that the human body needs different nutrients and proteins that can only be derived from eating meat.
Using the analogy of people wanting to eat other people...wel, that doesn't work. Humans have souls, conscience..animals don't. Even then, there are many cultures that either have, or possibly still do, practice cannibalism. But then, so do animals. You think pigs are vegetarians? They will eat anything they can, even each other. You want to try and convince a tiger that he should give up eating meat and eat only grass and roots? Good luck.

You have a serious point there, my dear!!Human structure is to suit vegetarianism and slaughter in any form must be curatiled or stopped.
I think God did forbid eating the cattle( later mispelt as Apple) and Satan made him to eat that. A few follows satan and a few follows God. Some follow neither and occasionally change sides!!!!!

I personally don't slaughter my own food, I buy it in the butcher shop and I don't give a crap how it got there so long as it tastes good. Much like the other things available in a local shop, chocolate bars,crisp/chips/sweets/candies/biscuits/cookies etc, etc.

Because eating or cooking them while they're still alive is cruel. We need to slaughter them first!
Why can't you just let people alone and let them eat what they want?
