Pull your hair back with a headband, stand in front of a mirror holding a bar of soap, outline your face on the mirror, then stand back and look at the shape you drew. Does it look round, oval, heart, square shaped. That is the easiest way. Then of course you have to clean your mirror....

Oh well, this may not be as easy at it seems. But here are some tips that might help.
Just like everybody said, look in the mirror with your hair back away from your face. Look straight into the mirror.
Now ask yourself: What is the widest part of my face?
Is it my
forehead?
cheeks?
jawline/chinline?
Next, ask yourself what the next widest part is?
forhead?
cheeks?
jaw/chinline?

Looking in the mirror is half the answer.
Pull your hair back from your face with a scrunchy or a scarf.
Use lotion and trace the outline of your face on the mirror. That will better help you to see the shape of your face.
Be sure to clean the mirror when you're done.

look in the mirror, and if your not sure, get a whiteboard marker or felt tip like pen and draw around your face line on the mirror, then step back and see what shape you have drawn - just dont forget to wipe the pen off!
btw, draw around you face not your hair!

ok....put your hair back in a band, look in the mirror, take a crayon and draw the outline of your face...once you've done this look at the shape and you will be able to see what shape it is.I did this and it works!!
