What do you think of someone socks with sandals, and do you know anyone who does?

absolutely HIDEOUS. a fashion faux pas to make one go to sartorial Hell.
i see a lot of german tourists and some english people who love this style. sad.
prada is advocating this look for men for spring summer 2007. dear me...

it is a huge NO NO unless you are a soccer player who just left practice and put their adidas sandals. Wearing socks with sandals is pretty much redundant. The point of sandals is to keep your feet cool and socks are worn to keep your feet warm. Do you get what I'm saying here?

I think wearing socks with sandals is stupid. The whole purpose of wearing sandals is to show the feet and I would not wear socks with sandals...it is such a no-no!

Wearing socks with sandals is pointless. You wear sandals because they are open shoes that allow your feet to breathe. You wear closed shoes to cover your feet, so why wear sandals just to wear socks to cover your feet. It doesn't make sense. No I don't know anyone who wears socks with sandals.

When you Hit your mid thirties...you stop caring about what other people think. I do wear socks and sandals...but i hate the way my feet look. And its easier than shoes and socks in airports.

oh jeeze! someone who wears socks with sandals obviously has some issues with their feet. sandals are supposed to be worn alone, hence giving your feet a brake from being stuffed into nasty smelly sneakers all the time.

sock with sandals beats the whole idea of sandals..sandals are worn in hot days when the feet requires air..to prevent it from sweating and eeeww that smell..i think you got my point..

I don't see what difference it makes. Wearing socks help protect your feet and keeps them clean. Socks or no socks, it's an individual thing. I don't see why anyone else should care or judge.

I don't really like it when people do that...if you're going to wear socks, then just wear shoes!
