Universal healthcare. People shouldn't have to choose between medicine or food. People shouldn't have to go bankrupt and lose everything just because they're sick. This makes us look like an unfeeling, uncaring society. We should value human life, not disregard it, because huge companies are out to make gargantuan profits.

The overwhelming arrogance, hypocrisy, their forgetting of history and general attitude of superiority over the rest of the world.

Granted, the US have one of the largest and most powerful economies in the world. They are a centre of technology, military might and have some pretty decent schools.

But it has many flaws as well but can't seem to recognize it. Too many people State-side forget to read up on their history. Back in the 1770's, some guys were getting mighty tired of being told how to live their lives by some dude named King George who lived across the Atlantic. So, the Americans said they've had their fill of that and they decided to rebel and to found a country that's wrapped around freedom. Now, over 200 years later, that same country is out telling everyone else in the world how to run their shop.

As part of the whole arrogance and superiority thing, a lot of Americans seem to think that because they hold a US passport they can do as they damned please abroad.

Impossible thing : give the red Indians their land back.

Possible thing: Withraw the U.S troops out of Iraq, let Israel mind its own business without the help of USA, stop being nosy about other nations' business and the most important kick out G.W. Bush and Rice.

I would ban corporations from any participation in the democratic process. As things are they spend huge sums on political campaigns and on lobbying politicians to send them yet another zillion $ for nothing.
