No way. There arent many running backs, who have outstanding production for over five years. There are the exceptions. Super Bowls are won with a QB. Bettis didnt win the big game, I dont wear a helmet did. Running backs peak for 3 to five years. Peyton cant win the big game yet, but QB's get better as they get older. Reading defences just get easier. You can get a mediocre back and win.

YES. There are enough quality QB's out there to get that losing Manning wouldn't hurt quite as bad. There are only a handful of RB's that even come close to Alexander's value. Take this trade before the other guy regains his sanity!!!!!

HELL YES. In most leagues RB's are the highest scorers and Alexander has been the best RB over the last 3 years. I would take that trade in a heart beat.

MAKE THE TRADE!!!

I would.

You know exactly what you are getting with Alexander. Peyton going into this season, is somewhat of a question mark. Dont get me wrong, he is a good quarterback, but some wonder how he will do with the departure of Edgerrin James.

With the running attack gone, opponents can focus on the passing game and on Manning.

I wouldn't.

Because of the Madden Curse. Shaun Alexander is doomed this season.

(oh, and it's Peyton. not Payton. if you're talking about Manning. ) :-)

yes because running backs are the most important part of fantasy football and in getting Shaun Alexander that means that you would have the best one in the game and that means that you cant go wrong.

Depends on a few things.....scoring system, current RB situation, etc....

but in a short answer, YES!

Either way is okay. Don't do it if you have another strong running back. Either way you will benefit with both players.
