If there's an abundance of them then you want be able to stop them from foraging for food. If they're hungry they're going to eat. They're vegatarians and fruit eaters. The best solution is to call your local fish and game wardens office to find out more on how to keep them away. You can't shoot them unless you have a deer tag or the state has given authority to thin the population of deer out.

Get hair clippings from a barber or shop, put them in a nylon knee high or mesh bag and hang them from posts that are located around the things you are trying to protect. Deer have a great sense of smell and don't like the smell of humans. I have done this for years. Try it. It works.

A big rifle then you can eat the deer,pay backs are so sweet and sometimes tasty

you could get a crop damage permit from the Dept of Natural Resources and then shoot them and feed your family for the winter.

put up a fence....made of boards like privacy fences....or put out food else were to attract themm there and away from your garden
