At least you would have left. If you were a blond, white chick with big boobs you would have taken off running in the woods with high-healed shoes on. No wonder they always trip and fall. Scoot over cause I am leaving with you!

Hey, she read the script and chose to be that character. They probably could have been a white character if no one black was available. It is all in the casting. It does seem that way, but writers nowadays are venturing where a few black guys live until the end. For example: House on Haunted Hill, Species II. It depends on the casting. If you read for Mack Daddy Jones and get the part and he dies in the first ten minutes, oh well. At least you get a small check.

because the directors know dat black ppl isn't scared 2 hurt somebody who threatens thems, so they decided 2 kill the black person first. if they don't do that, then there wouldn't be a movie. it would just be a 5 minute clip.(dats how i look at it)=)

Perhaps it is an attempt by the horror film makers to mirror real life. In real life blacks are the first to die in police conflicts, riots, executions by our justice system, and war.

It's just proof positive that there needs to be black horror directors, y'know?

There's growing ranks of good black directors, but none of them work in horror. Nearly all do drama / comedy / dramedy. Which means few or none do sci-fi / horror / etc...

It's a growth opportunity, you agree?

Yeah, because in real life the black person would never go into the big, spooky, haunted house in the first place.
