I worked for both companies and trust me when i tell you cvs . they are more concerned with you ( by the way i own my own business now and do not work for either company ) cvs is very careful with product rotation dating and cleanliness of their stores where in many cases Walgreen could care less . some medicines and especially vitamin es and vitamin products can be deadly if out of date

Of course Walgreens is better than CVS! You can tell just by the commercials.

It's a toss up. Walgreens offers more consistant pricing. CVS offers good sale prices and more in their food department . I prefer Walgreens; but I do use CVS for special sale items.

CVS, and I shop both. Better brand of merchandise and better service, in my opinion.
