No - you stooped even lower than they are being. Most people don't allow dogs to poop on neighbors' yards to be offensive; they just do not realize how offensive it IS to OTHERS. You need to talk directly to them. That will be VERY HARD now that you've done the toilet paper thing! I'd pray that it did not make it over to them! You need to kindly tell them how gross the poop is to you, and that if they do not take care of their dog, that you have no other option than to turn them in for it. The city will then take care of it.

Very childish. The dog is only doing what is nature of a dog. Why not go to the owners and tell them to keep their dog fenced up. Let the owners know the dog is pooping in your yard. Next time scoop the poop and take it to them with the dog. If that doesn't tell them something I don't know what will. Call the animal shelter if the owner does not do anything about it.

Well, It's kind of funny, but it won't last long. For about $10 you can go to the pet store and buy stuff to sprinkle in your yard to keep animals away. Just re-sprinkle it every week and the dog will stop coming over.
Your neighbor really should monitor their dog and clean up after it.

Thats gross!!!! Invest in a good high power water pistol and every time he goes in your yard give him a good soaking... This is called conditioning and he'll eventually figure that it's not good to go in your yard for a poop. It's humane and far nicer than yukky toilet paper.

Dogs will be dogs...my dog will run next door to poo sometimes, but I scold her. The neighbors dog always returns the favor. It is a way of them leaving their scent so that when they are in heat other dogs will know where to find them.

That was childish, why not talk to the dogs owners ,they are the reason because they arent responsable pet owners. Not the poor dog. Tell your neighbors you want it to stop .

Clever new idea but nothing permanent there as a solution. Better is dog-napping. Just take it to some vet and give it to them to sell. (Wear a disguse when you do and provide a false tlephone number.)

No, that was not a good idea. Just puts you in the wrong instead of the owner of the dog. What was wrong with going to your neighbor and asking him to please control his dog?
