For girls babysitting is usually a good thing to do in the summer, its easy and pays like $10 an hour. I also do car washes in the summer with my friends at like $7 a car wash and then we make like $200 and split it so we get $50 each. I'm 14 and that's how I'm making my money. =)

If you are a native speaker of english, from US UK, or CA, many schools are looking for you to teach in China. They pay your airfare and give u fully furnished accommodation plus other incentives, then pay you about 700 to 1,000 dollars a month. All you need is play with middle school students in class. Try mowing yards or washing cars...but both require attention to detail and a small investment to get started, but the chances are you could find the stuff you need already at home.
