We had an Uncle that was a fanatic about the bible,he carried it everywhere and would
"preach" to any one ,he even preached to animals,he especially liked preaching to my grandmothers chickens,it was so funny and so sad at the same time. he was arrested several times for standing in peoples yards screamming the "gospel" at the top of his lungs......He was commited to the state hospital in Vinita OK and never was released until he died at the age of 86....I never got to see him but my family still talks about Uncle Charlie Fox who they called Foxie.....they say you are acting like "foxie" when anyone does something crazy or silly.

I had a great aunt who was really beautiful but had a difficult character. She had loads of suitors but never got married. I guess they were all scared away by her temper.

All of us kids were scared of her because she was so bad tempered. I even have a photo of her sticking her tongue out at the camera. She also used to drink alot and see ghosts at night!

People used to talk about her a lot and they used to tell me that I was a stubborn spoiled child and that I took after her. I secretly really liked her...I thought she had character and was really quite funny and deep down a very loving person. You know what, after all these years, I do believe I take a bit after her.

Me ...because I wouldn't conform to living in a particular manner that they feel they had set forth as a legacy that I should carry on for La' Familia....I did not agree with how they lived or did things as a whole . I don't deal with any of them at all ....everything they stood for was of a completely negative nature...there was no positive substance there at all ....the decision that I made ...going on 5 yrs. now has been visibly the best that I could have ever made for my children and myself. I am proud of me for standing up for my own rights and beliefs. I don't know if they still talk about me or not ....................
